| Cailebs Doctors Appointment: Ever dialated an infants eyes? |

Well today my precious boy Caileb had to have his eyes dialated. I had originally taken him him for a lazy eye and the doc said that he wanted to do a dialated check. So he prescribed him some drops I had to put in beginning at 7 am So him sitting in his car seat strapped in mind u. I instill thwe drops if you had of been in the parking lot you would of sworn I slammed his hand in the door by the high pitch squeeal he let go of. So we arrine at the doc he checks in we wait in the waiting room 30 minutes for the doc to see him. We go in the doc comes in after 10 more minutes mind you I had both babies with me and no help just me you try it lol. the doc shines a pen light into his eyes only to totally yick him off. Not dialated WHAT NOT DIALATED ugh more drops more screaming he is getting sleepy because if he cries hes sleepie so he dozes off the doc sees this and takes this oppurtunity to place the drops yet one more time to be sure. SCREAMING lol never sneak up on a sleeping dog or baby remamber this people lol especially with these drops lol. So the doc decides that his eyes arent gonna dialate so he continues with the exam. All this for a 5 minute exam UGH come on. Ok ok so he has Ptosis, astigmatisim, he's far sided and heres the kicker he has to have surgery on both his eyes. I know things could be worse but all mothers can tell you that a boo boo on the knee will tear at your heart strings. So we go to the doc in april ill let ya know
