| O.F.D. -new disorder |

| I finally have an answer------thanks to Granny and Mama I too have OFD. This isn't a new disorder it's been around for a long time. There is no cure for this that I can find anywhere. I think there are a lot more people with this disorder and they just don't know what to "label" it. If you are wondering what OFD is it's this: "Obsessive Feeding Disorder". It is the overwhelming urge to cook food and feed people !! No matter what time of day or night, people come to visit and you feed them. You go someplace and you take them food, or cook for them, etc. If you're at home and there's nobody extra to feed, then you do like I do and start feeding the birds, squirrels, rabbits etc. in the back yard. Or you invite people over so you have somebody to cook for. Or you check the church's calendar to see if a "cooking event" is coming up. But everyday you have to cook something for somebody!!! LOL I find there is always somebody willing to take the food to eat. So I just make sure my freezer and cupboards are full and to all my friends and family drop on by and have a bite to eat! |

| My Dad has been feeding the squirrels in their yard, I've been telling him that corn fed squirrell is mighty tasty....hehe |

| It's sad but I don't think I have this disorder. It would help a lot if I did. I'm one of those looking for you that have this supper gifting. I'm on the list for dinner. Just let me know if you're coming here or I'm coming there. Then we can dance the night away. I really enjoyed dance tonight. It has been a while and it felt good to get on the floor and get back up again. Love ya! :) |

Well, I am reporitng that last night's dinner at mom's was great! We had pan grilled chicken, salad, veggies, mac and cheese, and the usual sides from the fridge (cottage cheese, assorted pickles, etc...). She is a great short order cook as well. And that is not referring to the fact that she may be vertically challenged. ;)
Mom, I'm thinking homemade peach cobbler sounds good for Friday and whatever entree goes well with that.
