Dee C (I like the name!)

Good visual and good description of our growth in the Lord. I have found it very hard to describe the differences I have seen - differences as drastic as day and night, yet each loves the Lord with all they have.  May I make an observation? I don't do this to contradict what you have written for I think what you have written is a beautiful picture. I do this to perhaps in some way supplement it...maybe, just maybe, some things don't really matter.  I know this may offend some, but with that thought in mind, take an issue like makeup. In the church where I was raised, I remember the pastor preaching at how makeup is from the devil. It made an impression on me that I remember to this day. Well, I suppose makeup could be a tool of the devil just like anything else.  However, I would put it in that category of things that don't really matter. They may matter to a given person in their walk, but not to the church in general.  I hope I am making sense and not just rambling because I agree with everything you have written and just wanted to add one more thought...

Good blog Dee C!  And I agree.  As long as it is Jesus we are following and climbing toward, all our differences will one day fade.  Wouldn't it be fun to practice that now?!

Great blog! I think it's wonderful graphic representation, and that it could represent this site very nicely. Thanks for this post!

Words of wisdom young lady-You are right. Some churches are different but the basics must be the same. No one group has the scoop on God even though they will tell you they do. Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:1-7  what we are to do. Verse 4 tells us that their is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
