Is GOD responsible for our happiness and unhappiness? The real question should be, is GOD in place "to serve man" or is "man in place to serve GOD"? How often do we try to make GOD "guilty" of our problems and unhappiness? Have you ever heard yourself or anyone say, GOD let it happen, He does't care, it was GOD's fault. Sometimes we try to use GOD as our pesonal scapegoat for the evil in our life, past, present and future.The problem with blaming GOD, is that GOD did not create and is not the author of evil, man accomplished that when he "fell" sinned. 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
See what GOD made was very good, up to, the time man sinned. When the sin from another invades our life thru molestation, physical abuse or verbal abuse that person made a "free will" choice. Our reaction to thier evil choice is forgiveness of the person and the turning over of that sin to Jesus for His judgement. Whenever we blame GOD for the sin in our life, we are not holding man accountable for his actions, but in reality holding GOD responsible for mans actions. Instead of trying to make GOD "what we desire", we need to study the Word and be what "He desires" of us. |
