Death is just a change of address.  But to us left behind it is heart breakings lose and we miss them so much. There is a reason and place for death.  Death shows us how much we really love. It also shows us how much God loves us. Once we lose someone close, we get a better understanding of how much it Cost God, when He gave his Son up to suffer the death of the cross. The bible says that there is no greater love than when one lays down his life for another. God Loves you so much that he was willing to give/to lose His son, so that you could spend eternity with Him.  If we never experience the lose of someone close, then we would never understand How great a sacrifice was made by God for our sake. When you think about how long eternity is, the moments we spend separated from our loved ones at death, is relatively short. I think that if a person Loves Jesus, has faith in his scarifies as his punishment for sins, and keeps trying to be good and obeys God, then through Gods grace and mercy he gets to heaven.

       God also loves us enough to comfort and strengthen us when we do go through hard times like the one you are going through now.  John 14, Jesus told the disciples he was leaving (going to the cross)"I must leave but I will send you the comforter" That comforter is the Holy Spirit. He sent His Holy Spirit so that He can be with everyone at the same time. But we need to welcome Him in. I will pray that comfort and strength comes to you and your family in your time of need."
