I am SO thankful for this verse:

because I couldn't do it by myself.  NO Way.  I confess.  I have NOT been faithful to read my Bible through this year - (Oh, JOB, you get me every time!), and I've even not been as faithful to read it daily for growth.  But even though I may fall down (becase of course, I've um, ahem..."leaned on my own understanding"), the Holy Spirit never leaves me.  I just praise god that he gave us a helper - a standby - so that I am not alone and that the Holy Spirit never leaves me.  I roam, I stray, but He is there for me always.  Praise God.

And to continue (after I got the Sugar Baby back to sleep).... another verse that kind of explains the "mopiness" I can feel - getting myself down by not following through on what I feel is so important (being daily in His Word) is this:

Other versions say, "the father of lies" and I believe it.  I hear those whispers of "you're not good enough; you've failed; you don't love the Lord enough to give time to reading; you couldn't stick with it...." and I LISTEN but then I have to go back and face that deception and see where it comes from....The Father of Lies. 

Anyways, if you are being whispered to, I hope this helps like it helps me.  The Holy Spirit never leaves and will feed truth over any lies I hear....
