I agree!

The words of an old song say it this way - whisper a prayer in the morning, whisper a prayer at noon, whisper a prayer in the evening to keep your heart in tune!

I find myself praying when I do little things like dishes, or driving - all just conversations with God!

Thanks, Gretchen. This is something that I never understood. I didn't grow up publically praying. My family didn't pray so I was never officially taught how to pray. But I talked with God often. So when I pray, I'm holding a conversation with God.

God doesn't only like to be thanked (and don't we all), he also likes to be praised. And as we talk to our best friend, do we yell at them and then ask them for a favor? That's something to think about when we ask God for something. Did we praise him or did we yell at him?

Very good point, Gretchen. I do have small conversations with God all day long. But somehow I don't feel like I have really talked to him until I literally kneel to Him. I guess it's like bedtime, when the kids give you a kiss good night. It isn't really good night until you have them all tucked in and you have gone in to kiss them. I guess making time for Him is what I am saying. I think it's okay to have those conversations with God. I do it myself. But if I don't make time for Him, I feel I am ignoring Him. Kind of like I feel with my kids if I get absorbed in something that takes me away from their time. I love you, sister. God bless.
