Your right Christians are by far the largest group in the world. They can literally make changes happen but choose not to far and wide. What is Christ going to say to those who say nothing right now. I figure its going to be this:
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:Depart from me , ye that work iniquity.

I just pray that we change our ways before its too late

I know this it's a no-no to blog about politics here, but...here's the bad news:  politicians can't see what they are doing by pushing an extensive agenda of liberalism and gov't give aways and we Christians just seem to be watching from the sidelines.  The good news is that Christians can use the very same political system in America to do more than make their voices heard.  They can enact change.  It takes purpose, dedication and a strong belief system.

I guess there's other ways to enact moral change, but this one seems to be on the minds of many Americans at the present time.  My only other question is, "Where are the Isaiahs of America?"

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send?  And who will go for us?"
And I said "Here am I.  Send Me!"  He said, "Go and tell this people..."  (Isaiah 6:8ff)

We are our brother's keeper. We as chrisitian should not turn our heads to what is happening in this world today. We already know that these things will come to pass. So what are we going to do ?. We cannot sit back any longer  in the churches and hope that people will come to church.
We are Christ followers and we should do as Jesus did to go and give the word to whomever we come in contact with. We all are guilty of not spreading the Word of God as we should. ( I'm guilty) and I must repent.  YOU KNOW AS WELL AS I DO THAT SOME OF THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT APPROACHABLE.

It is a new day and I beleive with this christian website we are getting stronger and we will help each other to grow and to bring others to Christ. Let begin by praying for those things listed above and ask God to change people heart to have the fear of God. Amen

We do have the opportunity on the web, to voice the gospel, blessedmary.  I have been blessed to be a featured bloger on tennessean.com.  The Tennessean is the local Nashville newspaper.  They also publish on of my blogs each Sunday in the paper.

You see the Word is already getting out there. Now that's what God wants from us. I'm sure He is well pleased with you Steve.

Gene, you are right we need to add common sense to political correctness. Let's add that one to that list and pray that our leaders of our country will use common sense in making decisions for us. This should be the first one. amen

Be Blessed

Steve, of whom I do not know. has certainly started something here. But Alice has certainly has wrote the pain we Christians have born for so long. How we all wish we could change the world in a moment. I have worked, for example, to end abortion, as others have sense the 70's. But, we need each other to end attacks on Christian principles. to end pornography, as well as so many incoherent things our society suffers from. Gambling, prostitution. Lack of family values. But, we need each other. I have found a group that I think may be of great help. The Family Research Council. At www.frc.org I have sent them funds and intend to do so as long as I can continue. It is not a need fro you to do so. But, to keep abreast of what is going on. I suggest you go to their site and receive their e-mails to stay abreast of what is happening in the fight to end this scourge.
Christians HAVE to get tough. Let the creeps know you are not afraid to stick up for what is right. we have to understand. God does not wish us to hide under the table every time one of them apply their fith to our children or grandchildren. We have to fight back in any way we can to do God's work. That takes courage. So, i suggest we all get a good helping and go out fighting!!

We have aborted decency, morals, and self-respect with the way we allow this generation of teens to act, dress, and speak disrespectfully.

Right on, Alice!

Yes it does Lara...

I to have been aborted/rejected only to be risen again in CHRIST. We should never reject our youth in our wombs or in the streets.

Yes, a very sad commentary on our times.  It's sad when things don't seem to have an affect on anyone anymore, but the word of God is clear:

Matthew 24:12 - And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

All of this is because of sin, yet almost 2 billion people in the world claim to be Christians, go figure.....
