On August 21, 1966 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania., I was born the third son of Mr. Kenneth Wilson, Sr. and Mrs. Katie Mae Wilson.
After the death of my mother Katie Mae, when she was only 19 years old, Kenneth with the help of his mother, Dorothy Wilson, continued to care for his three sons raising them to believe that God is the reason for all being.
As a youth, I and my two brothers, Kenneth, Jr. and Kevin attended the Philadelphia County School System, where I often went from the front door of Simon Gratz High School straight out the back door.
Despite many years of worldly living; indulging in drugs, alcohol abuse, and many run-ins with the law; At the age of 20, on December 22, 1986, I received Jesus Christ as my Personal Lord and Savior. In late 1987, I married Carla Fullmore, a union that produced four children, Keith, Jr., Kendall, Keisha, and Kentrell, who all currently reside in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Much like my father, Minister Kenneth Wilson, I dove face first into the work of the ministry. Six months after receiving Christ, being obedient to the Holy Spirit, I attended Manna Bible Institute for two years, and there studied: Personal Evangelism, the Pentitutes, Christian Ethics, and the Sygnoptic Gospels. After successfully completing my studies at Manna, it seemed I was only beginning to study theology and my call to the ministry grew even stronger. This yearning to Minister lead me to attend the North Eastern Baptist School of Theology in Exton, Pennsylvania for two years, where I added to my Theological knowledge: Pastoral Internship, Soul-Winning, Elementary Greek, Homaletics, Hermenutics and various other studies in theology.
After which I went on to attend the Goodwill Baptist Bible College for a year where I learned more about being a Sunday School Director, Directing and Conducting a Bus Ministry, as well as being a Youth Minister, along with learning to cultivate a host of other doctrines and theological subjects.
It was at Goodwill Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Elijah Thompson, where I got my first grasp of what it is like to serve as a Youth Minister, teach and direct Sunday School, as well as Direct a Bus Ministry, and learn to be a life-long Soul-Winner, which helped to bring hundreds of Philadelphia’s children, young adults and adults alike to Christ.
In 1993, my wife (Carla) separated and I remained in Claymont, Delaware. Later that year, I met and began to date Regina Gans.
In late August of 1995, the Lord led me to Louisburg, North Carolina, where I attended and served in the Ministry as Sunday School teacher, Praise Team and Mass Choir Member, as well as Minister under the leadership of Pastor Willie R. Nixon, III. Despite all the many attempts of the enemy to stop me from being what God has intended for my life, I am still serving God to the fullest extent of his might under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
In April of the year 2002, the Lord gave me the vision to start Agape Christian Fellowship of Friends Ministries, a fellowship of men and women that stand on the verbal inspiration of the Bible, the deity of Jesus Christ, his sinless blood sacrifice for all mankind his bodily resurrection, his imminent return to the earth, and his salvation available through faith in him. Opposing error in false doctrine, teaching, and practice. Dedicated to the strong, no compromise preaching and teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the “power of God unto salvation.” A.C.F.F. ministries was a striving evangelistic ministries, which continued at a member’s house for a year.
In April of 2003, the Lord lead me to write a letter to area churches to encourage and offer teaching the art of soul-winning. The letter was accepted and responded to by the Pastor of South Main Street Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. David Rosby. Later that month, after much prayer and attendance, I moved my membership to South Main Street Missionary Baptist Church. There I served as Youth Missionary Supervisor, Missionary, Pastor’s Aide Vice-President, and Associate Minister. Through this union, I was able to exercise my gift there and at many other churches in the community and abroad.
After much prayer and meditation, my previous marriage with Carla Fullmore was dissolved, and the following year the Lord blessed me to marry, Regina Gans, and from this union I have two children, Kanaysha and Kamishia. Not many months following this union, I found out that I had one other child, Elijah Perry.
While serving at South Main Street, I was contacted by Min. Sandra Hazelwood to assist in Southside Ministries, a street ministry that major goal is to bring the Word of God to the streets of Louisburg, North Carolina, in an attempt to save souls for the Master.
Despite the many challenges and stumble blocks of the enemy, I am continuing my endeavor to become an ordained minister and one day Pastor a church. while striving to obtain the needed credentials, man’s requirements, to move further toward reaching my goal of becoming a Pastor in five years.
The time had come during a Revival at South main street, i meet Pastor Timothy Johnson, who had preached the service, i found out him in i had a lot in common, and shortly after i joined him in ministry at Jones chaple Baptist church, serving as his assistant, he latter sent me to the Ordination councel where i was catecized, and on
may 6,2006 i was Ordained and set apart, i am know continuing my work for the Lord in many areas, still pressing toward my goal to Pastor.
In brief I would describe myself as an Evangelist with a Soul-Winner’s heart. I longs and yearns to see everyone have the opportunity to know Christ as their personal savior.
Living by the scripture that best describes me, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” -Matthew 28: 19, 20
