As a Christian we sometimes forget who we have living inside us and the strength he has given us to overcome things in our lives. The world has a strange way of grabbing hold of our attention sometimes! I'm not sure what it is about us that likes the things of this world, but I sometimes get caught up in things that lead me away from God. Things that I have to remind myself of are..." Christ Lives In My Heart " and that should give me the desire to worship him and be closer to him at all times... Hmm sounds easy doesn't it! Well not so easy if your life is CONSUMED by things of this world. What gets us tangled up in this stuff.... Honestly I think it is our curiosity of what it will do to us and how will it please our interest. And that is exactly what SATAN wants....and when he gets you in that position, things can go bad real quick. Well question is how do we CONSUME our lives with God? Well I think Jeremiah said it best in Jer 20:9... If we are saved then we already have a flame started within our hearts... It is our Job to make that puppy burn and consume every part of our life. Family, Friends, Music, Movies, Places we go, Words we say, Books we read, Games we Play, Things we write, People we talk to... It should all be wrapped with God in the center of it so that his love and grace can flow out through our lives like he wants it to. Sad thing is though that we get in God's way sometimes and stop that from happening. Let's step aside and let the Big Man upstairs do some stirring up in our hearts and let the flames start to CONSUME our lives, and the lives of others around us!
