| Unrepentant Cities |

What is going to happen to people who will not repent of their sins and turn to God? Jesus strongly condemned a number of towns in ancient Israel because they refused to believe in him. He named three towns which had witnessed the miraculous ministry of Jesus Christ, but refused to turn to God. What did he say about them?
Jesus named another three extremely corrupt and perverted cities which would be better off in the judgment day than those which reject Jesus. What a shocking statement! It gets worse. Jesus said that the people of one of those cities which had rejected him, would go to hell. Laugh if you want, but when you have a private moment alone, ask yourself a serious question: Are you heading straight for hell? Only Jesus can save you!
11:20 Then he began to upbraid the cities where most of his mighty works had been done, because they did not repent. 11:21 "Woe to you, Chora'zin! woe to you, Beth-sa'ida! for if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 11:22 But I tell you, it shall be more tolerable on the day of judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. 11:23 And you, Caper'na-um, will you be exalted to heaven? You shall be brought down to Hades. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 11:24 But I tell you that it shall be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you."
