 Every day in the media we hear from very well educated people who claim to have all the answers to our phobias, our political dilemmas, financial problems and other personal or societal problems. The reality is that the world is run by people who don't have a clue. Our international, national, local and personal problems continue unabated. The most educated nations on earth have often been the ones to commit the greatest atrocities and pose the greatest threat to the extinction of the planet. Clearly human wisdom has failed.
Jesus once said that the most important knowledge is unavailable to the those who think themselves wise or clever, but is available to those who are childlike. Our entire planet is weary and heavily burdened with abysmal failures at all levels. Jesus invites us, Come to me all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. The answers to all our problems cannot be found in our educational, political, industrial and social sophistication. The only true Savior is Jesus. 11:25 At that time Jesus declared, "I thank thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to babes; 11:26 yea, Father, for such was thy gracious will. 11:27 All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

Hmmm! Very good question my friend. I believe that Christian are to encourage one another. Hopefully, we are accomplishing that at least in part. If not, then something needs a bit of drastic surgery around here. At least this forum is more encouraging than some of the dog-eat-dog so-called Christian forums around.
