Dear Hannes

There is not one reference to the rapture in the Bible.  Only that Jesus Christ our Lord is coming again. The Rapture is the brainchild of individual Christians. To prove the rapture, one must "rape" the Bible.  Jesus is comig again. For that coming again (only once) the Bride of Christ is waiting in patience and expectation.

Amen

Thanks Mike, I totally agree that the word rapture is not in the Bible. We should rather call it the second coming, I used the word rapture since most people associate the word with the second coming. The word rapture is derived from the latin word for caught up or snatched away. Blessings to you and grace from God our Father. May you prosper and have good success in all you do for the kingdom. Love in Crist.

It sounds like you agree with the Amillennial view discussed in the previous post, i.e., that Christ will return, that we Christians will meet him in the air and that the Final Judgment will take place all at the same time (on the "Last Day"). Is that true?

That is what the revelation of scriptures leads me to believe, I didn't know about the Amillennial view until you brought it to the table. I guess I have a label now for what I believe. LOL. Thanks again for your input and patience. Grace to you and favour from our God.

Love in Christ

Where in the scriptre is the word "Trinity?"  or how about "Revival?"  "Second Advent?"  "Bible?"  "Sunday School?" I have searched the scriptures and cannot find these words.  Should I cast out all teachings and doctrines related to these words?
