Something else you might not have heard in the mainstream news was how the Archbishop of Mosul for Chaldeans, Monsignor Paulos Faraj Rahho, was kidnapped on February 29 after conducting a Stations of the Cross service. He was later found buried in a shallow grave outside of Mosul. They also killed three of his aides. Mosul is the third-largest city in Iraq, behind al-Basrah and Baghdad. Last June Chaldean priest Ragheed Ganni and three of his assistants were shot and killed outside the Holy Spirit Church in Mosul.
