3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease." 1:4 by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, that through these you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of passion, and become partakers of the divine nature. God is good but when adversity comes into our lives is God still good? 1:2 Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials, 1:3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 1:4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4
1:5 For this very reason make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, 1:6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, 1:7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. 1:8 For if these things are yours and abound, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1:9 For whoever lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. It is when we go through the trials of life doing God's will that Christ increase in us.
FOR ONLY WE WHO BELIEVE GOD... Hebrews 4:2-3
When we go through adversity we are only as strong as what we put our faith in.
Jesus endured the cross because he belived God was good all the time.
Jesus looked beyond the cross to God.
Is God good all the time?
8:28 We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.
Yes HE is !!! And when we start acting like Jesus through any circumstance and we don't even realize it that's when we have made real progress in character.
If Christians would Praise God more - The world would doubt him less!
