So a couple weeks ago, we were in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, Mexico for our friends Ken and Julie's wedding. It was a beautiful town full of character and folk culture. The wedding party arranged for this great cooking class at a ranch outside of town where we learned to make guacamole, cheese dips, mole sauce, and lots of great authentic Mexican food. Yum!
Here's me successfully pressing and frying a corn tortilla :). I miss the tacos!!
That is awesome! When I went to Mexico last year on a mission trip we stopped at this lady's house that made tortillas every morning and sold them out of a window in her house. They were the best tortillas I have ever eaten. Brings back lots of great memories! Thanks for sharing!
Holy Guacamole, that's awesome Carebear! Next I'd like to see you eating the tortilla, that might be even more educational for me (mine always fall apart on me).
