EASTER REFLECTIONS
Easter has come and gone and our church survived. Just wanted to reflect on some blessings I received from that day. I want to thank everyone who attended the first service to make room in the second service. It worked great, the first service was packed and there was room in the second service, we were able to handle the crowd both in seating and parking. Many people attended the first service and worked the second. The help in the nursery and the classes was greatly appreciated. The music was great, especially the JAM kids. Didn't those kids sing out? Well I think our church has proven it can handle larger crowds, maybe God is getting us ready? I just want to thank everyone who made Easter such a special day at our church. Chris is preaching this Sunday morning. His message: The Jesus We Need To Know I will be preaching Sunday night, continuing in my series:Balancing The Christian Life. This Sunday night I will be speaking on Money and The Love of God

Giving My Best
The book of Malachi is a small book at the end of the Old Testament. The last word of that book is “curse”. God was going to put the nation of Israel under a curse unless she was willing to change. What did God want? He wanted their best, nothing less. Instead of giving God what was right they were only giving Him what was left. This new series, based on the book of Malachi, explores giving God our best.
GIVING MY BEST . . . IN WORSHIP APRIL 6 IN SERVICE APRIL 13 IN MARRIAGE APRIL 20 IN STEWARDSHIP APRIL 27
My grandson Micah was baptized on Easter Sunday by his father. This is our first grandchild to follow the Lord, our prayer is for each of our six to come to know Christ and live for Him. Way to go Micah we are praying for you. This is what the church is all about: changed lives. Pray for this Sunday, hope to see you there.
