| A Time for Everything |

Walking around outside this morning flooded my senses with the freshness of Spring.
Beautiful yellow and pink tulips bloomed. Trees that looked desolate, now had life before them. The air was crisp and refreshing as it hit my cheeks.
Just before a week ago, sweaters were still in order. The crispness of the weather was bitter. Many seasons in life come and go. For Jesus, only three days made a difference in His life and ultimately in our eternal salvation as well. Oh, what a day can bring. Life or death. Choose life is what it says in God's word when we are presented with the story of the two mountains. But, just how do you do that.....
Struggling through my walk with Christ vs. life circumstances, I often wonder if I have chosen correctly. Life is about choices.....but when you make those choices while holding God's hand, He is faithful to lead you in the right direction. Just like a child holds his daddies hand, the safety is there. Would that Father ever lead his child into oncomming traffic........
Take the hand of God. Start or reopen with freshness the 'road map of life'/Bible.
The adventures God has for only you and Him..... The new life He has set before you........
Choose Life
3:1 For everything there is a season, and a time for very purpose under heaven: 3:2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3:3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 3:4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 3:5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 3:6 a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 3:7 a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 3:8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.

I'm glad God guides and leads me through every season, He is there with me in the storm and He is still there after the rain and you know that you've made it through! |

| I used to get stuck on the 'what-ifs' . Even when we thought we were making the Lord's choice and it turned out to be 'our' choice. HE used that choice for Him! |

Sister,
I love this passage of scripture. We are often at different "times" in our lives and we weave in and out of them. One of my favorite scriptures in this passages deals with a time to keep and a time to throw away 3:6b. This has helped me be set free from being a clutter bug. It can be a struggle.

I've loved that scripture since I found out that the song by the Byrds was based on the Bible passage.
Yes, time passes and thing do change but not God's nature and His gift. Amen! |
