A man arrived late to an important business meeting, appearing slightly annoyed that he was late, but otherwise normal. When asked why the delay, he replied, "Oh, I just can't believe what happened on my way here. I was crossing the street at Third and Maple when a semi came out of nowhere and hit me! I'm really sorry I'm late." The boss looked at him like he was crazy. " What do you mean you got hit by a semi? If that happened to you, you would definitely not be standing here looking like you always do. You would be changed!"
How much more ridiculous is it that people claim to come to know Christ as their Savior, but yet appear to the world the same as they always were. Knowing Christ should make an even bigger difference in our life than if we had been hit by a semi! Let's eat, breathe, and live to glorify HIM! |
