What is there about me that anyone else would be interested in? I'm not sure, but I'll enter a few things. I'm 64 years old. Love to have fun and laugh over anything that is wholesome. I don't like "ugly"—there is too much in the world that is crude and ugly, so I try to see, talk, listen to only beautiful things. "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things." My goal is heaven, though I am sorely lacking in many of the qualities that I think would help me achieve this. The grace of God will have to cover much in me!
I love spending time alone, which I almost never get to do, as my husband is home. It is difficult motivating myself to get up and do what I should when someone is in the room. Don't get me wrong—I love him and enjoy spending time with him. But I've always been more able to motivate myself to work and do projects when I was alone. [Of course, I didn't have an addiction to the computer back then! ]
We love to eat out and I don't enjoy cooking any more, but eating out is very expensive, so we shouldn't do it as much as we do. Love Mexican and Chinese food—and a great steak! We just celebrated our 10th Anniversary by a great steak dinner at Outback!
Our toy poodle, Dudley (photo at left), is the child of our old age! :) He is the center of our universe in many ways. I also have two Persian cats, age 14 and almost 3. Callie, the younger, is pictured below.
