2 Corinthians 4:7-9 (New International Version)But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. Things to do to remain faithful under pressure:· You first have to be faithful to remain faithful. You should have a character that already reflects God and His ways. · You have to be disciplined. Get into a pattern of daily prayer and fasting. This is our lifeline to God. · God longs for us to love Him; so we must obey Him. When you are obedient to God’s word you express your love and trust in Him throughout the circumstances in your life. · You should have integrity; be honest. Have a made up mind to do His will in all things. Stop making excuses and dwelling in the world. Compromising God’s principles to conform to this world will cause defeat and destruction in your life. · You have to love God first. Make God a priority in your life. You cannot allow anything to come before your relationship with God. Truth is no other relationship can successfully flourish until you nurture your relationship with God. Stop holding grudges and being quick to anger. You need to reframe your thinking and forgive others. What will happen with you’re faithful under pressure:· You will be better equipped than those in this world to handle the cares of this world. · You will see God; God will be there throughout the trials. · You will discover God; you will know Him in a deeper way. · You will rise above worldly situations and people in the world. · Your lifting up God so others will see Him through you. God draws others to Him. You will be a vessel that God uses to bring souls to Christ.
