As I sit here and meditate on your word I am brought to tears.......
Today marks the day I have been praying about, the final day before many difficult choices have to be made. I have sought your will to the best that I can.....guide me, open the doors that you want open in my life and close the one you want closed. I only want your will in my life Lord. May all that I do just simply glorify you.
*Today I will dis-enroll from school......praying about financial aide, this will put me in a bind with it. *I will enroll with a on-line university...have been researching for 2 months and think I have found one. *Today I am giving notice on my home...........we will move back in with my parents as you have directed. *I need the energy to pack and ppl to help me move. *Help me to get the rest of my bills paid, or if I should push and get a part-time job. *I will not worry about the cancer screening in 2 weeks, you have been with me since I found out in December.... *I am resting and taking care of myself *I am excited about the new opportunity you have opened in my life with mychurch....what a great place this is and now I have an opportunity to do your work in this area. *I am praying for Ashley's adjustment as we move....she is excited, but I haven't figured out if I want to homeschool or not....really looking into it. *I am praying for peace over my parents home....i have a handicapped brother that can be grumpy, he does not understand always. *I am praying about the 30 lbs I gained on the cancer meds! Help me to lose this inspite of my loss of strength. *I am praying still and daily for my divorce to be final.......after 5 yrs I am tired. I will do your will Lord and will press on until Ashley is 18 yrs old if needed for her safety. I am secure in you, but companionship in a loving marital relationship would be wonderful.
Father, you can see on the other side of the bridge to where i can not. I trust you Lord. I will walk through today with you.
5:18Behold, that which I have seen to be good and to be comely is for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy good in all his labor, wherein he laboreth under the sun, all the days of his life which God hath given him: for this is his portion. 5:19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor-this is the gift of God. 5:20For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth `him' in the joy of his heart.
Thank you Father for your faithfulness and blessings to me. You are Holy and Righteous. You are Lord of Lords and King of Kings. You are Majesty. You are my Protector and Shade. You are my Healer. You are my God.
Just simply if I did not have anything else......................thank you for my salvation Jesus...........
I ask the blood of Jesus over all of these and me today, In Jesus name.
As we discussed, you are filled with the Love of God. The Godly pressure within you is greater than the worldly pressure that is without. The world cannot pressurize you more than you already pressurize the world. You are an overcomer my friend. God has had His hand upon your life, still does, and He always will. If you were not a child of God, then these things would seems to be unsurpassable. But you are HIS! He has kept you on the face of this earth for a reason and He is not through with you yet.
Your faith will see these things come to pass. The phrase "came to pass" appears 497 times in the King James Version.
You know why they came? To pass! They came to pass!
Cheryl, I totally believe the Lord will continue to guide you. I tolally believe that, where He guides, He provides. I will pray for you........for guidance and strength and material provisions. You are loved by many, my friend. Most importantly......by the Savior !
Cheryl...Thank you for this prayer. This really did encourage me today as you poured your heart out to the Father. He is so good to just be right there to pick us up. What you just did was worship Him. Even though, I feel in your flesh your struggle, you still poured your praise upon Him and that is all He requires from us, that is why we were created. When we open our hearts up to him like that and give it all to Him, He is faithful and will not allow His Word to come back void and He will perform it.
55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.
Cheryl I keep you always in my prayers, I am dealing with a lot of the same issues and I really trusting the Lord to lift you up and give you the answers you need. Moving in with your parents might not always seems the right answer but let me tell you, if mine were alive I wouldn't hesitate a moment, for I know they will invite and receive me with open arms and at least you are with those who love you. But I pray that God wil provide in your financial needs and He will look after you!! Take care my dear friend!! Be patient with yourself , give yourself time to fully recover. Keep smiling that wonderful warm smile and never lose faith, Just let Jesus wrap His loving arms around you and strenghten you day by day!!! Blessings my friend!!
Through God all things are possable. Mat. 17:20 "if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."Love and prayers for you My Sister
As I read your blog, I noticed the number of answered prayers already received and this gave me joy for you. I know that you are seeking the will of God in all you do and I know that Our Father will guide and direct your path. God Bless You CherylinOK! I will continue to pray for you and your sweet daughter.
What a blessing you all are! God is so so so mighty good to us.....I just cannot find the adequate words for that.......wow!
I am so excited...he is faithful! I don't know what is going to happen, but He does!
Thank you for your love and support, I thought about making this a private blog but then thought no, God has done too much........I will let other know my personal world. My God is good!
God wants to do the same in each of our lives.....wow! Thank you Father, I praise you!
In the midst of the circumstances, your faith and trust in HIM has challenged me today. I wish I could be as open and trusting at times. We serve a BIG GOD, One who is BIGGER than our situations. I think I need to learn to let God be God and put more trust in Him, as it seems you have.
The safest place in the whole wide world, is in the will of God. Though the trials seem great and the way seem hard it's in the Master's hand. It may be on battle front or in the prison walls. But wherever it may be if God says go you go. (it's a song and i was singing it to you)
It will work out for your Good and you know we are praying for you and Ashley
8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.
AS usual, you are teaching as you go through. Your witness and submission has ministered to me and I have been blessed by just being near you. GOD sees you and loves your willing spirit. He will always take care of your daughter and the choices you make with his will at their center will always turn out best. All things work for the good of those who Love the Lord!
Cheryl, It seems you have thought and prayed for a plan, And now all we have to do is allow the Lord to work the plan that he has laid out. I will be praying for you in agreement with all you request! I am also praying that the Lord will send people that will Help with the move, "wish I was near by to help" but Gods arms are bigger than mine "He will provide" Love you!
A prayer for you today Cheryl. God is listening and cares about all your concerns. I have found that if we are seeking His direction in our lives, He will give us the answers we need. Sometimes there are issues that matter to us that are not of eternal significance, and in those cases, He allows us either choice, as long as we give the choices of our life to Him to be used for His glory.
My LORD GOD, I come to you in the authority of Christ. I lift up my sister Cheryl to you. By your Word I speak PEACE into every area of her life form the parents home, to the financial situation, to doing what is best for her and her daughter. I speak to cancer, I call you null and void in Cheryl's body, I command you to dry up and dissipate now! I command every cell in her body to communicate with one another as they were designed to do when you ABBA Father created her in your image and likeness.
I thank you LORD for giving Cheryl your wisdom, knowledge and understand for her day to day life especially in regards to home schooling, following your instructions in regards to a Godly diet that is best for her body type and matabolism, and for choosing the right school in order to finish what you have called her to do.
I thank you LORD that she is the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, she is blessed coming in and blessed going out. She is highly favored with you and with man, she is more than a conqueror.
I give charge to angles to encamp around her to protect her, to go forth and bring in the provision that is needed.....to go forth and to begin to minister to those that are directly involved in her situations to make a way where there seems to be no way.
LORD I speak skilled laborers into her path that will assist in each area that she has need of.
The Lord knows exactly where he needs you to be. He has ordered you steps. He needs to position you to do what he needs you to do. We don't always understand that because we look with our natural eyes. Fly on wings of eagles and let the Lord show you the master plan. It is a good plan.
I surrender my financial affairs and concerns about money to your Divine care and love.
I ask that you remove my worries, anxieties, and fears about money, and replace them with faith.
I know and trust that my debts will be paid and money will flow into my life.
I have only to look to nature to see proof of the abundance you provide.
I release all negative thoughts about money, and know that prosperity is my true state.
I commit to being grateful for all that I now have in my life.
I learn to manage my finances wisely, seeking help where needed.
And finally, I ask you to help me understand my purpose in life and to act on that purpose with courage and strength. I know that prosperity will come, in part, by doing work I love. Please help me use my skills and knowledge to be of service in the world.
Thank you, God.
Amen
Lord Jesus, you came into the world to heal our infirmities and to endure our sufferings. You went about healing all and bringing comfort to those in pain and need. We come before you now in this time of illness asking that you may be the source of our strength in body, courage in spirit and patience in pain. May we join ourselves more closely to you on the cross and in your suffering that through them we may draw our patience and hope. Assist us and restore us to health so that united more closely to your family, the Church, we may give praise and honour to your name. Amen.
O God, you will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are fixed on you; for in returning and rest we shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be our strength.

Cheryl - you have inspired me ever since I found you here on mychurch...you are always the example of what a Christian should be. I am praying for you and your family as these changes occur. You have been through so much and even though I know I only know you from these 'blogs, the way you can remember - focus - on thanking the Lord for all that He has given you, and seen you through is a wonderful testimony.
So, Lord, I pray that you see sister Cheryl through this time of crisis in her life - a CRISIS, we must remember is a turning point, and can be a good or a bad thing. May the decisions you have guided her to help to relieve financial, mental and physical stresses on her and her family and allow all involved to see the greatness of Your plans for us.
Thankyou family, got the school thing done today...making arrangements on the moving.......pray for employment...a homebased something would be a answered prayer...I can do that!
Ashley is so excited! She wants to move in with her grandparents......we live almost an hour north of them right now.

I am so sorry to hear all the trials you are going through at this time in your life. I know God has something planed for you, but it is hard to see what it could be at this time. But when you have a Father like we have we are in the best of care. Keep smiling and looking to Jesus and all well be ok. My heart goes out to you and your little girl and my prayers go up to God that He well be there for you and your little one. God bless and keep you always.

Wow Cheryl. I'm going to make it a point to read this blog everyday for awhile. You have inspired me. Keep the faith sister. P.S. Don't forget to watch the Caps game tonight so we can give Rich a hard time when his team loses!!
Cheryl, My pastor friend named Jim was given a diagnosis of cancer many years ago and he was a bit ruffled by the news. When he arrived home from the doctor's office his four year old grandchild said "Papaw do you want to hear my Bible verse I learned today?" to which he answered "of course." She said "He is faithful who promised." Over the last four years I have heard him give testimony of how out of the mouths of babes, out of the mouth of his grandchild came words of faith and hope which turned it around for him. May you remember today, "He is faithful who promised." Love to you, Necie
