OK Michelle, here goes....I'm actually blogging
Many of the best "God messages" come from my wee friends. Periodically, I'll share them with you...they're just too precious not to share!

This was in the last couple of days...I'm "B" and the kid is "K" This is an actual conversation!

K: What does God look like?
B: I don't know...people draw pictures of Him, but we won't really know until we get to heaven.
(Long pause and wrinkled brow)
K: When you go to heaven, can you come back?
B: No you really can't, but it's ok, 'cause you really feel great in heaven.  Nobody's ever sick and it's a very, very fun place!
K: I wouldn't want to go now, 'cause I would miss my mom and dad.
B: They would miss you, too, but sometimes God (who we all know fixes every "owie") can only fix some of those big owies in heaven. When someone goes to heaven, it's really great for them, but really sad for the ones who can't go with...
K: YOUR Beppe (grandma) is waiting in heaven for you...

B: yup and when she got to go there, I was very, very sad for a long time
K: Why?
B: Because I love her and I miss her
K: Will you go there?
B. Yes I will sometime
(LOOONG pause for thought)
K: And then you will wait for me, and then after a long time I will come there too?
B: Yup, you will
(Another long pause)
K: Oh, ok....


I really can't add anything to that, except, listen to a kid sometime if you want to cut through the crap!
