I am so grateful for God's forgiveness! Thanks for keeping us reminded of what Jesus has done for all of us who call Him our Lord & Savior!

The paragraph beginning "Guilt is a mechanism..." was fascinating to read, never heard it put like that before! Great points Todd!

I came to the conclusion after reading Col 2:13-15 a few months ago that sin is a pretty meaningless word to me anymore. Yeah, I mess up and need God's forgiveness, but it isn't a legal action anymore, it's a father restoring/repairing a relationship w/his son!!!!

That's right Mike!  If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jeus, his Son purifies us from all sin."  Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  We are under the blood!  Protected and Provided for Wow!

I want you to know that I appreciate your ministry.

Oh that's good.....it's real good.

I hear those condemning voices a lot. But I am learning to recognize them. The more we fight them off the less the devil uses them against us.

I believe the devil gets tired easy. You throw things back in his face enough times and he gets worn out. He's such a liar and a punk!

I think it was Smith Wigglesworth that said he woke up one night because something was stirring at the end of his bed. He rolled over and saw it was the devil and said. "Oh, it's only you", and went back to sleep!

Good Word!

PHew?  What?  Are you tired?  Solomon of much learning and study is wearisome to the flesh.  I hope it blessed you.

Guilt and shame are not bad things. Its like the pain that you feel when you cut yourself. It lets you be aware of something that is wrong or unusual. Then you can attend to it.

We are always going to have shortcommings. Its good to be aware of it. We already have forgiveness of past, present and future sin. But repentence is important.

Guilt was put there by God for sure.  Shame is a result of violating God's commands. Yes, they are intended to convict us and bring us to repentance.  They can bind you up though for sure.  Satan likes to tell us we are bad, but God has already forgiven us. We are free in Christ that is good news!   I give you a BIG AMEN ON THAT COMMENT!  Thank you, Grace!
