Kicked off the team?  I don't think so...  People are here to help, instill wisdom into people etc.

Proverbs 22:7 paraphrased means: The rich rule over the poor and the borrower is always servant to the lender.  When the lender stops lending - the borrower goes bust.

Most things are repairable if people stay on course to correct it. I think you've recognised it just in time.  Just stay on course and keep moving in the right direction. There is a credit-crunch crisis happening in America and England. The lender (Banks, Building Societies ets.) have been lending money to people in the full knowledge that people can't afford the repayments.  Now the Banks are reluctant to lend out money (even between themselves) and they are calling in the debts, and both people in America and England stand to lose a lot of things because of what they (the Banks) did.  People have been hood-winked into believing in one thing, where in actual fact it was another.

Just an after-thought.  There are 31 chapters in the Book of Proverbs.  Read one chapter everyday - then see what it means to you and how you can implement it.

My father always said to me "if you can't afford it - don't have it." Those few words have kept me out of a lot of trouble finacially. Nowadays if people can't afford it (even if its for such a thing as a computer) they borrow.  Furthermore, when they can't afford the repayments - they borrow on top of the borrowing, therefore years down the line - what was once a mushroom has turned into a mountain because they were hood-winked into that concept of "borrowing."  Just keep on keeping on and plough through it, and don't borrow anything else unless you can afford it.  I for one am not slinging you off.

Great blog....we are ALL alike. Each of us try to protect ourselves from others. We want to "look good" be viewed as strong.  I have been in financal messes and didn't learn my lesson so I was rigth back in the same spot a year or so later. I am praying for you and those you had sought to counsel you for wisdom. Keep moving foward. A phrase I really try to remember each time I fall is this:

It only becomes a failure if I fail to get back up!

Keep getting up.

Brother, I can relate.  I too am in a financial challenge, however, my GOD will not leave me begging bread.  That doesn't mean that I won't or don't have to take a few steps back, humble myself, ask for mercy and Fully Rely on God.  He has provided exactly what we needed at the precise time we needed it.

We just have to readjust our needs to His needs as that is usually where we miss it.  We just don't need most of the things we think we do.  I will admit this has been a hard lesson for me and more so for my wife.  Our security is not in our finances it is in our LORD & SAVIOUR CHRIST Jesus!
