1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. A while back I started a little mini-series about "short-quotes" -- something I DO want to get back into expositing here, for sure -- and it seemed as though they were generating some decent response. Well recently I got a couple new Bibles, one of which is a study Bible designed around Apologetics, and it has several articles within it regarding many of the "common questions" people ask -- whether they ask because they're inquisitive or because they're trying to undermine or discredit you for thinking that "Christianity is the real thing". I thought it could perhaps be a good idea to post some of the articles here in another series, which hopefully would provide a reasoned answer to many a doubter's question. I know many people who do not have access to such materials, so I thought it would be nice to share. For those of you whose minds turn to things legal, I looked at the copyright information and it appears as though the only material in the book that's copyrighted is the Scriptures (go figure). As if the Scriptures have an earthly owner...ok stop me now, because that's a whole other topic that I don't really have the mental clarity to go into right now. :) So yeah, assuming that it's not copyrighted material, what do you guys think? Would you like to read some of these articles here? If so, I'll move on it; if not, I won't waste your time. Thanks guys. Agape and Shalom! In His service, and yours, jason |
