| What is it that seperates us from the presence of our Heavenly Father? |

In this Blog (which is my first attempt at something like this) I want to open a line of statements, questions, and answers, a line of cumminication for all to participate in. 1) First example in Bible of seperation of Man and our Heavenly Father. Genesis 3:1-24 Statement: I have listened to a lot of teaching about the cansequences of sin and how the "glory of God" that was the covering for Adam and Eve was taken because of their sin and things along that path, but it is really not written about in Gen. like that. The interesting thing that our Heavenly Father said to Adam was: "...who told you that you were naked?" Even though our Heavenly Father allready knew what they did, He: a) Was still willing to fellowship in the garden, and calling out b) Did not say that they were naked c) Did not say that they were now seperated in any way d) Did, by raising the above stated question, caused Adam to realize he now has "another voice" talking to him, telling him he was naked, when the Heavenly Father had said no such thing. e) Did have to change some things around "the garden" because Adam and Eve now chose to experience not only the"good", but also the "evil".
So, if we listen to the voice telling us " I am naked " we don't want our Heavenly Father to see us that way, and WE will HIDE from Him! Enoch (even before Jesus) did not listen to that voice and walked with God, and he was not there, because God took him. (Gen. 5:24) Not a bad way to live, and go! |

The old testament is the reaction played out from the "other voice influence" that intruded into the cool of the day relationship that Adam had with His Father. This subtle voice that mimics the voice of God. In simple words, lets say the old testament is what the "naked thinking man" expresses. You see him forming a golden calf and becoming quite violent as he serves the God of his CARNAL PRECEPTION. Thinking God is demanding he kill innocent animals and even women and children of surrounding cities. God's changes not. But the carnal mind changes often. If God does not change then how can the Old Testament God and New Testament God line up? Answer is. God doesn't change but man took the bait and became carnal and this carnal preception became a very sinful expression (Naked trying to get covererd) Thinking God required a "Bribe" or sacrafice to appease his temper. This bribe sacrafice is a covering for a carnal minded man. Not So. Jesus Christ never imaged a God like the Old Testament preception. This Naked voice is like a virus that makes us think we are Separated when in fact we are not, nor ever was BECAUSE GOD ALWAYS HAS AND DOES LOVE US. And nothing as in ABSOLUTE NOTHING can separate any of ADAM and FAMILY from the Love of God.
But Thank God for his compassion in sending us the Walking expressed WORD of the Living God. That enables us to PRECIEVE God by the HOLY SPIRIT and SECURE in HIS LOVE.
Quite a different "VIEW" of God Huh ?
Praise the Lord I ain't taking any more "Naked" accusations from the slithering voice in My Fathers Garden even if that voice lives among me in our modern world.

Wow KW, you covered quite a bit of territory!
Jesus spoke of why He came, He had a mission, He completed His mission, but that is not to say we saw the entirety of The Father in The Image Jesus gave us does it?
The entire OT is a picture of the Messiah to come, the SOS of the OT , S hows O ur S in and the entire NT SOS is S hows O ur S avior. The two are connected and supportive of each other, one fulfilling and superseding the other, but the same God as I see it.
Remember that the same coin has not only two sides, but an edge, and it's all the same coin.
Peace, Tom |
