So I was watching a show on the biggest libraries in America. With books from different genres and covering all authors and what I found out is that I am a failure. I am the biggest loser. In one of the Harvard Libraries there is over 2 million volumes. I realize that I suck. I have wasted the 19 years that I have been in existence not reading. there is so many authors that I want to read. so many genres that I haven't divulged myself into. i am stupid.

reading is just.....yea....
all u need to read is the Bible...other than that no books are worthy

as far as i'm concerned, you saved that many years of your life not worrying about reading all of those non-sensical books!

just kidding.....but really SOME books out there are pointless.

Sure the Bible is all you need, but I believe God still wants us to enjoy authors in the time we live in too. There are a lot of great writers from the past 1,900 years: Wesley, Calvin, Pascal, Chesterton, Augustine, Lawrence, Murray, Foxe, Luther (just to name a few).

To say that reading nothing else matters, is to say God is no longer speaking to authors; and who are we to say who God speaks to?
