Lord,
Please prepare us for sleep. Please let our dreams be of Your Heavenly Kingdom, and all that you have prepared for us.
As we rest, please prepare our minds and hearts to love you and all of the people that we can come in contact with. Please teach us how to love you in the same manner in which we love you. Please forgive us for our sins, and help to be as forgiving and merciful as You are.
Please work on us, and through us, and help us to know that each of us is an ongoing project, developed by You, and for You. Help us to understand that we shall grow until the day you call us home to dwell with You!
Thank you for every blessing, every kind word spoken to us today and every lesson learned. Thank you too, for showing us how to survive, grow and thrive where we are planted.
But most of all Lord, thank you for loving us, and sheltering us.
