We just don't have TV. That works, too...

Thank you Doyle for the star as well as voice_in_d..  I have edited the original so as not ot hurt the tender feelings of some of the people who call them selves men but can't take the truth about themselves. This b;og has been up for over twelve hours and all that have read it are 27 people as I write this and TWO MEN who gave it stars.
this IS a sad country!

Thank you for the FCC info.

I agree that board games with the children are better than using tv as a babysitter. It gives the children something constructive to do and doing it with a parent or parents--it helps "bond" their relationship with them.  However, as most of us know, a lot of parents do not feel they have the time to play, after getting home from work (both parents working--many times these days).  I can certainly understand their frustration and being tired--since there is much work left to do every day after they get off the job away from home.  Also, many parents probably don't think some of the trash their children can be exposed to is available during "family viewing" hours.  They just simply don't know.

Of course, you do have some parents that just don't bother with it (watching the programs their children watch)--or God forbid--approve of it.  We've gradually become desensitized to a lot and our acceptance of things as being normal is changing.

I am concerned with "rights", too.  However, it really doesn't make sense that "trash" is protected, vulgar, degrading artwork associated with religious things are protected--but the right to speak of, or otherwise bring the view of those who believe in the Savior--is strictly forbidden--more and more.  This does concern me.

From my previous blogs, I think you and anyone who reads this blog knows my feelings about this subject.  However, I did want to thank you that as a man, you were courageous enough to give an honest opinion about this topic.  Porn is pure filth, exploits the women, men, and children "used" for this entertainment.  The saddest part is that it takes more and more to "enjoy" it and it's very, very addictive as told over many blogs on MyChurch. Unfortunately, porn  is becoming  the accepted "normal" it seems.

Thank you for the message. I am a little more in a better spirit knowing at least the count is a little higher at this time. Yet, as important as it is. One has to wonder how a Christian could pass up a possible cure for a disease that is hurting our nation and the world as it is.
It makes you loose faith in your fellow man!  God bless!!
