Have you ever thought about the lies you believe? The enemy is a liar. He wants to destroy you. Let the Light of God's Truth replace the lies.
If you are wondering what some of those lies are and if you have believed any of them, let me list some.
If any of these ring true with you, ask God to expose the lie and fill it with Truth.
Something bad is going to happen.
If I trust, I will get hurt.
It is just a matter of time before it happens again.
I cannot make a decision or something will go wrong.
I am not needed.
I am all alone.
I will always be by myself.
There is no one to protect me.
God has forsaken me.
No one will believe me.
I have been betrayed by everyone.
What happened was my fault.
I felt pleasure, so I wanted it.
I am stupid.
I deserved it.
I should have known better.
I should have told someone.
I did not try to run away.
I am a murder for having that abortion.
I am cheap.
I am dirty.
My life is ruined.
What he did marked me for life.
I will never be the same.
It is never going to get any better.
There is no way out.
There is no good thing for me.
I have no reason to live.
There are no options available to me.
There is nothing I can do.
I need to take care of people, but I can't.
I am overwhelmed.
I am too little to make it stop.
Everything is out of control.
I am pulled from every direction.
I am unloved.
I am not needed.
I am worthless.
I don't matter.
I was a mistake and I should have never been born.
I am in the way.
God could never love or accept me.
There is something wrong with me.
And it goes on and on...
If you have been stirred by any of this, please take some time and go to the Lord. Ask him to fill the lie with truth. Tune in your heart to what he is saying or showing you. Receive Truth!

He is showing me the truth! Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; v.6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." When you trust in Him and let Him direct you, the TRUTH goes from your head, and into your heart, allowing the healing process to begin! Thanks Dana! Great message! |

And so satan straps those chains on us and we allow him to keep the key that Jesus holds to free us.
Don't allow satan to laugh at you, take the key and break free from those chains that bind us and that keep us in satan'sprison
We are FREE because the savior has set us FREE! Live it and LOVE it!!! We are children of the most high King! Do not let satan drag you to the ground stand up and PUT ON YOUR CROWN AND TELL HIM HE IS GOING DOWN!!!! |

| Anyone ever noticed how lies are so easy to believe about others but we want everyone else to not believe everything they hear....seems like we need to remember Romans 10:17 "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ." We can't always believe what we are hearing unless it comes straight from the WORD! Grea Post Dana! |

Dana - thanks for this post. I'm being bombarded by lies: You're going to be like your father It won't really all work out in the end Your prayers aren't being heard Others have bigger problems that you. You're going to lose everything You're only praying because you're desperate You're going to backslide You're a bad father and husband You're not forgiven. You're not equipped to ask God for help...you don't know enough. These lies hurt and they hit all at once...and I am thanking God that He is working through all you folks on here, pointing out the Word where it applies and your stories where God has rescued you. Oh, for a time machine just to peer into the future and see that God has pulled me through...but the doubt that resides in me (also the enemy attacking) keeps me from that comfort. How do I kill doubt? |

When the man who molested me told me that my parents would kick me out of the house if I told...That was a lie. When the enemy then told me...you can't tell your parents anything...they will not believe you. That was a lie as well. It was the LIE that induced the FEAR! Big difference? I don't think so...they walk hand in hand with eachother.
I'm going to have to disagree with you on this point.
These can be seen as both fears and lies. First a lie must be implanted for fear to take hold.

When you believe these lies of Satan about yourself, you actually give credit to the liar and take credit away from God, whom says you can trust Him. You not only hurt yourself but hurt God as well. Meditate on the scriptures and be obedient. The power of the gospel and living for Christ will encourage you more than you can imagine........leap out in faith!
