Today, we visited a different church. I knew immediately that it was not the church for us. I was so relieved when my phone buzzed, and I got called in to work half way through the service.
I've never been in a church quite like it before. I can't really put my finger on it, but I can say that I feel like I didn't go to church at all today - that's not a good feeling. There was no life. There was no joy. There was no excitement. The praise team and pastor seemed more like robots going through the motions than Christians on fire and ready to praise the Lord.
I still do not know exactly where God is leading me, but now I know for sure one place that He is not leading me to. |
