RENOUCING SPIRITS!

1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I was in class one night and in my 'deep studies' class...we call it that...lol...
, but it is really called, 'Deeper studies of the Word'. We were discussing spirits and being delivered and set free from different spirits and how we open doors for them to enter. We were discussing 'revealed sin'. That is sin that others know about. He was explaining that it becomes revealed because of mercy and not because God is angry with you. So many people feel like sin is revealed because God is trying to expose you and embarrass you, but that is not try. He allows that sin to be revealed because He has mercy on us so that others can help you get past the sin, because if you come to a point where you begin to justify sin, it becomes serious. So serious that it eventually becomes what is called-Great Transgressions! When you justify your sins, you are close to judgment. Justification with no remorse means you are guilty of backsliding. That is why it is so important for us to have an accountability person. Someone that we can go to and confess these sins so we can get the help we need to get delivered and free from them. We can't tell everyone about our sins, because some people can't handle it and some people will judge you instead of trying to help you get 'free' from those sins. Sin is being sorry enough to quit, and then quitting!
Some sins that we commit or are guilty of are sins that we have opened doors up for them to come in. When we are guilty of doing that, we need to confess these sins, repent of them and then renounce them. Confession and repentance is good, but some of these need to be renounced. What I mean by that is, sins of such as the occult. The reason for me mentioning these are because I, myself was guilty of these sins. Back in my past, I used to dabble with the occult by using the Ouija Board. Thinking it was just a board game, when in all actuality, I was dabbling in witchcraft/the spirit of divination. What I had done was opened portals for these spirits to come in and do what they wanted to do. For me, they opened up a spirit of fear that took me years to be free from. I was so terrified that I could not sleep or nothing during the day or not. I never knew that I was going to have to renounce these things that I had opened up. I even have to command that all portals be closed. I know that alot of people don't believe in these things, but these are some serious things. Through opening these doors, I had allowed these things to open up different sinful things in my life. Knowing this now, I will be spending some time in the Word to get the correct way of renouncing these things wherefore I can be free from these things that I will not allow to continue to be a part of my life. I know that I have been set free and that God has forgiven me for the ones that I know of have confessed, but knowing now that I need to renounce these things, I must do that.
I don't know why I felt the need to post this, but I know that some of us are dealing with some issues like this and I want you to know that you can be free. Even if it means that you have sins that unconfessed, you need to find an accountability person that you can go to and confess these things and be set free. I know that I want to be set free from the sins of my past and I hope that you do too

I work on computers, as a profession,

The computer is like us, if we do not have an anti-virus, we never know we have a problem, except that the we slow down, get pop-ups in our brain, and sometime just crash (break-down)

Once we get the Anti-Virus (Salvation), then when we scan our selves, we can find and identify where the problems are, but just like any anti-virus, it is only as good as the updates (reading the Word)

We also need to install a firewall (Holy Spirit), to close the portals, but that to needs updated too, (prayer). 

We also need spyware removal tools (fellowship), because our brothers and sisters are our keepers.
