Amen!  That includes the evidence of being Baptized in the Spirit of God.  Which by the way many think is evil....I never once, not once, displayed the evidence of being Baptized in the Spirit of God when I was in the world, in the bars, or out doing the opposite of His Word.

Yeah, I am referring to "Tongues".  Oh, wait did I just write that?!  Yes, I did.  We need to go back to Genesis 11 to begin to understand this "Tongues" thing.  God never takes something away with out restoring it!  One language, a language that only He (Father, Son, & Spirit) understands yet we being Baptized in God's Spirit have the gift of receiving.

The Word says to pray without ceasing, I know a lot of folks that can talk a lot, but even they run out of common words to say during prayer but the Spirit of God, who knows all and who knows what is needed before anyone or anything else never runs out of things to speak/pray.

It is not the end all and be all of God's gifts but it is a gift that many overlook, misunderstand or simply run from because they don't understand it.  God's ways are higher than our ways and there are many, oh so many, things that we don't understand even in times when we think we do!

Study it out, see what God says about it.  It did not and has not passed away.  It is for every believer even in this day.   The book of Acts has no AMEN at the end.  Why?  Because it is not finished, we are His disciples and we are to go out and do His works, yes, even greater works and if CHRIST Himself needed and was Baptized in the Spirit of God.  If He instructed His followers to do the same, then who are we to think it has been done away with or that we do not need it?  Are we better than CHRIST?  Oh, no, definitely not!

Be Blessed!  Thank you Blessings845 for this blog!
