Brag on him to others, especially to your children.
Keep yourself attractive and appealing to him.
Play and flirt with him.
Be his recreation companion.
Be a oasis for him to come home to and take refuge in from the day.
Let him know before, during and even days later that you enjoy making love with him.
Always speak with respect and love.
Edify him.
Refuse to be his conscious and simply pray.
Be a wife and play-mate and not a mother to him.
Abide in his decisions.

Being single is not what I wanted in life. I married for what i thought was the rest of my life. My husband chose to not follow God and then he lost us....his consequences for abuse. God never condones abuse. As you, I am praying for a Godly man that truly is a Godly man. Men will make mistakes too...we all forget to rub the trash out, call so and so...but where the ice breaker is in what he is doing that is detrimental to a marriage. I am praying with you!

| Well my sweet sister isn't that something now....but you know Cheryl, I'm calling those things that *be not* as though they already are (smile).....So technically.....walking by faith that is.....I am married ha ha ha ha...and God really has me walking by faith now....He done moved the man all the way down to Georgia....700 miles away....LOL....LOL...LOL....but I'm not worried....He knows I'm his good thing (smile).....We've been friends since 2002...and my bags are already packed ;o) If course, I'll invite everyone here at MyChurch to the wedding....LOL...LOL.....LOL |

MarJay~wow, the guy I have my eye on lives very north of me and i too have wondered why.
I have a ring on my left hand, it has the face of Jesus on it. He is my husband until i walk down that isle. In my marriage ceremony, I want my husband to remove it and add my wedding ring.
Until then, my heart and eyes are on the Lord, my husband.
I too will move and for some strange reason {maybe God!!!} haha my family is fine with me moving this far away. Wow, we'll just see...I pray he knows I'm his good thing too.

WOW! Even though I'm not supposed to be here lol
I’ve got one for the guys.
(Disclaimer: Ladies if I am wrong Pray for me and lay it on me gently :-) )
Take the time out ever so often and say, "what’s on your mind baby? Then--- Listen to her...........not while reading the paper or watching TV but while looking at her. Brothers you will mess yourself up and miss a clue or hint if you are not looking at her.
Here is your life saver brothers, don’t try to fix her problem with the "well do this” or “just simply try this." If you do we will have to start a recovery blog for you and pray and pray. We guys always want to just fix something immediately but there is NO WAY. Like they say in the old mafia movies “FORGET ABOUT IT.”
Most of the time she wants to tell you about her day (take it slow guys.) If it was a horrible day hug her and consul her. We are their safety net at these times. If it was a good day then (take it slow again man lol) celebrate with her. Just my two cents and just one example.
All I know is I came up in a house full of girls and learned a lot from it and am thankful to God that that insight has helped me with a total of 15 years together 11 of which Married to my Best friend.
PS: Pray first lol
