Yesterday was a wonderful day in the Lord! Wow, what a time I had. Laughing and rejoicing, crying and praising my Father for the wonderful things He is doing for us, through us, and in us. When I laugh, I cry and when I praise, I cry. Then there is just crying to cry
An angel brought us some goodies in the morning- praising and crying
I posted "Visitor" after one of my praise times and wrote on there just a bit of what was going on. Well, the guy that came over to mow the lawn was one of the FIRST ones to come to us directly and tell us what he had heard and ask what the truth was. He said he heard Scott was doing time in Kentucky. Mom and I gave a brief rundown. (very abbreviated, but I think we put him in shock)- laughing and crying
I did not get an e-mail from the LA TV station but the Father opened another door. More praising and crying!
Same above angel brought over food in the evening- you guessed it, more praising!
Got an AWESOME letter from my Man!
4-4 (lots of love poured out for me-*sigh* skip that part) I woke up to "this guy" yelling what was going to be watched on TV for the day and the usual threats of beat down if it is touched by anyone. "This guy", claims to be the new "leader" here and stepped up the threats in the afternoon after someone took his "stores". wow, did that get interesting. He turned off the TV and threatened everyone with death. Then the yelling matches started. (I was only observing- God is still protecting me and the prayer warriors in here) He then started to check every cell. He stepped into ours but turned and left. Later in the day he actually came in and apologizes for having stepped in. That would have been the shock of the day, but get this- it gets better. After Bible study was over we broke like you would in a huddle and on 3 we yelled "GO GOD!!" Everyone left and "this guy" walked in and asked for prayer (this place never ceases to amaze me and God never ceases to bless me) I began to pray and two of the prayer warriors joined for support. They did not like the idea of him being in the cell alone with me.
4-5 more skippage- Today has been another counseling day. (inmate skippage) Sometimes I miss the part where I get fed. I get drained. Then someone calls out "Bible Study!" So we get together and God fills me with an energy that could only come from Him. HE is enough.
I have been doing 3 or 4 teaching times each day and then the Bible study in the evenings. With this new group God has impressed on me the need to go over Phill 3:13 about leaving the past behind and pressing forward. Also building their house on the Rock. We have gone over both of these several times and each time they are more receptive. I guess God wants me to go over it until they can take it home.
4-6 Sunday morning became a battle of wills. Someone came and took over the area where we have service, before we got there. It was like a bunch of kids. I announce that we are having service in my cell and we were headed that way when the problem child came to me and asked me to go ahead and hold service. God rose to the occasion and spoke to all of us. What I had prepared was about fighting the internal battles on the inside first and then it is easier to fight the external battle.
WOOHOO - more praising and crying.
Get home from mom's Dr's appointment to see that Scott had tried to call. Just plain crying.
