| Evil Inside |

Jesus once preached about a strange phenomenon. If a demon is exorcised from a person, and goes wandering in the desert, then returns to find its house in that person swept and cleaned, it will return and invite seven other demons to possess that person as well. What does that mean?
When God removes evil from our lives, it is not sufficient to just be thankful and do nothing more. We must also make ongoing changes, or our troubles can return many times worse. A Christian life only begins at God's forgiveness of our past sins. It is also about a lifetime commitment in living for Jesus and discipleship of learning from him. 12:43 But the unclean spirit, when he is gone out of a man, goes through dry places looking for rest, and getting it not. 12:44 Then he says, I will go back into my house from which I came out; and when he comes, he sees that there is no one in it, but that it has been made fair and clean. 12:45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits worse than himself, and they go in and make it their living-place: and the last condition of that man is worse than the first. Even so will it be with this evil generation.

| Good blog, Grant. I would say it takes more than just a clean sweep of our lives, we need to be proactive and fill the void with good habits. |

Can't think of anything to say that hasn't already been said. Amen |

If I was an evil spirit I would disguise myself as a good trait and never get found out :) Then nobody would see me and cast me out. Heck I might even fool the stewards of the temple.
2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. It is said that he acts like God............Beware he's smarter and more subtle than people know.
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
and so now you know the rest of the story, the world of religions keep thinking it's the other guy's problem.
Peace |

| Thanks guys. I think that there must be a lot of demons in Hollywood. |

| Allow me to expand on what Mike said...it is not enough to fill the house with good habits, but to fill the house with a resident. Jesus/the Holy Spirit needs to take up residence in a person. Some people treat Jesus as a guest and not as a resident. |
