| Trust His Heart |

As I sat hear working on a Sunday morning, missing another week of church, I was beginning to feel so discouraged. I usually keep music going while I am working, and I stopped for a second to listen to the song that was playing and just melted. It was "Trust His Heart" sung by Babbie Mason. Here are the words to that song:
TRUST HIS HEART All things work for our good though sometimes we can't see how they could struggles that break our hearts in two sometimes blinds us to the truth
Our Father knows what's best for us His ways are not our own So when your pathway grows dim, and you just can't see Him Remember you're never alone
God is too wise to be mistaken God is too good to be unkind So when you don't understand When you don't see His plan When you can't trace His hand Trust His heart
He sees the master plan And He holds our future in His hands So don't live as those who have no hope All our hope is found in Him
We see the present clearly But He sees the first and the last And like a tapestry He's weaving you and me to someday be just like Him
God is too wise to be mistaken God is too good to be unkind So when you don't understand When you don't see His plan When you can't trace His hand Trust His heart
He alone is faithful and true He alone knows what is best for you So when you don't understand When you don't see His plan When you can't trace His hand trust His heart
There is so much in my life right now that I don't understand. I often question whether God is still there or not. It just seems so unfair sometimes, but as the words of that song says, "He alone is faithful and true. He alone knows what is best for you. He is too wise to be mistaken. He is too good to be unkind." He is in control and He has a plan -- even though, right now I cannot see His hand, I can trust His heart that he loves me and wants what is best for me. |
