1 Peter 4:4: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

One day a man went pass me and said "She is 39 and going on 40 in May, and she's being like that, she aint going out here having fun?"  He may not been refering to me, but it made me think. 


I am 39 years old and will be 40 years old this May.  My idea of having fun has changed from when I was in the flesh and beening led by this dying world. My life is better than it every was, and I am going towards (like all his servants, saints) by the blood of JESUS CHRIST to my completion.  Now my idea of enjoyment is celebrating by praising, worship, loving, obeying the LORD and reading HIS word getting ready for HIS coming.  Better than hanging out in a bar and drinking alcohol until the crack of dawn, like I used to. Which by the way, I find no joy in!

Am I having fun? You bet! But there is nothing like joy, fun is so overrated.  :-)
