| In a Little While. . . |

I will not be visiting with you for awhile.
There have been a number of things that have lead to this. Mostly they are work related and home "management" related.
There is much to do at work and the office policy has now shut down my access to MyChurch during daylight hours. hence my contacts must be after I get home in the evenings. Well, the amount of work I have right now is keeping me at the office until 9pm so the opportunity is getting quite restricted.
And, there is "stuff" I need to do at the house. The yard work is overwhelming. I need a new roof. There's painting, planting, all the things that come with a house and yard. My son has moved away and cannot be counted on for help. My daughter is grown and, although living at home, has her own life.
I am reminded of the letter that Paul wrote to Timothy in which he writes:
If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8 (New International Version)
In addition, I have a number of commitments to church - my own congregation, those in the St Louis area and the greater Body, that I have not been able to meet effectively. I'll miss the conversations and the dialogues but I must do this for now.
Peace!

| Gene, I respect your decision and agree that there are much more important responsibilities in life than social networking on-line, even with Christian brothers and sisters. I hope you will not close your MyChurch account, and that you will check in occasionally as life allows. I feel I have met a friend in you, and you have been constantly a wise voice and a most welcome face in my MyChurch experience! I will sincerely miss you here, and send you off with a prayer for God's guidance as you move on. Be blessed, my friend! |

| What? There is more to life than sitting in front of the computer? What novel idea. This is fun, but we must always no matter what is bear in mind that our time on this earth is precious and we must use it wisely. For we all will give an account of the deeds done in the body wether they be good or bad. I will miss you sharp mind the most, but it doesn't mean you have to go away permanetly, you just need to readjust your priorities a little as we all do. God bless in all your endeavors. |

Well, Gene, I too will miss you my new friend, but completely understand that there are priorities in this life. I too need to look closer at mine. Sometimes I get on here way more than I need to. It does provide much needed encouragement, but my family comes first. Come back soon....or as soon as you can. You will be missed! Much love! Sir Gene, Daddy Gene, Gene! |

| Adios for awhile, Gene. I appreciate your fellowship. All the best. |

We'll miss you. Get things in order and I am sure that a way will present itself to get back on here in the future. That being said, I use the Firefox browser and there's a cool "extension' that allows you to set limits on how long you can view a site or set of sites...so I don't overdo it and neglect work stuff, I set it to only 45 minutes on mychurch or checking my personal mail - enough that, if I do it on my lunch hour, it doesn't interfere. Well, still...we are you friend and brothers and sisters in Christ, and will be praying for you that things get prioritized. |

I agree with comments. Work comes first. It pays for those nasty things called BILLS. Secondly:
God Family Church
Hopefully I'll still be here when you pop on. |

| I hate to hear this Gene, but understand totally. This past week has been a hectic one for me and I have been scarce. As the weather gets nicer, I will be out in my gardens more, mowing my yard, and tons of other things. Winter time is a time when I have more leisure time on my hands, but spring and summer and fall are busy! So I imagine my time on here will be limited as well. Just pop in from time to time, when you get a chance, and let us know how you are doing. We will miss hearing from you! |

Gene, It's been a real pleasure sharing with you in these few short weeks that I've been part of the MyChurch family. You made me feel welcome. I DO understand...some likeable things just need to be put off until necessary things are completed. I look forward to your full-time return. God bless you, and BE CAREFUL! Ed |

Gene,
I will miss you, but I fully understand. We have to set our priorities.

| I love ya and miss ya, but we gotta follow the spirit. |
