Just to let you know, the Kid in the conversation was my granddaughter Rileigh, and it happened 3 days after I was told I needed a biopsy, and 4 days before the actual procedure.
First, it's not cancer, but a pre-cancerous condition that at this time only requires close monitoring.
But...I was really prayin at the time...how could I explain all that to Rileigh especially
(she's a very savvy kid)!
God started that conversation, I'm convinced of it, and He opened her mouth and put both hands in the middle of my back and said, "Now...talk to her!"
A groundwork was laid then so that no matter what the future holds, that little girl will be ok, and I will too, there is such great peace myself in knowing that!
Just thought I'd share that with you...
God is good.....all the time! |
