| Calendar planning with the staff through 2010 up here at Blowing Rock in the beautiful mountains of NC. It was about 70 degrees when we left Charlotte, and arriving up here it was snowing! Just 2 hours away from home! Calendar planning is gruelling and tedious, I would rather give them all of my events and let them figure out where to plug them in! Of course, then we'd probably be having Youth Councils in January and Ski Retreat in May... A friend(?) gave me the book entitled "The Power of Nice" hmmm. I think he's trying to tell me something! He also gave me a book called "The Power of The Deal" both are really business books, but I am enjoying them more than I thought! Thanks. I will return to the lower country tomorrow, so for now, I should say, CAMP STAFF IS HIRED AND PROGRAMS ARE ALMOST COMPLETE! Yeeehaaaaw! (my one southern exclamation). Peace, T. |
