One day God went to a Queen
She had jewels and jewels in rooms and rooms.
She lived in a castle and had all she ever wanted.
She saw God's face appear in her sight,
He asked her a question and expected an answer.
The thing he requested was the possessions of her.
When the Queen replied…she asked,
"How much Lord?"
At God's answer to this question,
The Queen had her guards come to take God away.
When they got there…God was gone.
One day God went to a Farmer,
He had herds and herds in fields and fields.
He lived on a farm and had all he ever wanted.
He saw God's face appear in his barn,
God asked him a question and expected an answer.
The thing he requested was the possessions of him.
When the Farmer replied…he asked,
"How much Lord?"
At God's answer to this question
The Farmer commanded God to leave his farm and go away,
When the Farmer turned around…God was gone.
Now God was sad,
The Queen and the Farmer had all they ever wanted.
But he was God,
Creator of Heaven and Earth,
The one thing he wanted no one would give to him.
One day God tried one last time,
With tears in his eyes,
To ask someone for his heart's desire.
God went to a Young Boy,
He has lost his father and mother in pain and turmoil.
He lived in a box and had only one thing he ever wanted.
(The one thing was a cross)
God asked him a question
And expected no answer.
He then saw that The Young Boy had nothing.
He wore a cross on a string around his neck.
God then asked the boy to give him the things he had
The boy asked,
With a smile on his face,
"How much Lord?"
God cried harder as he looked
At the nothingness this boy had.
He then said,
"Everything." The Young Boy slid the cross off his neck
And picked his box up off the ground.
With a sparkle in his eyes
And a grin on his face,
He handed it to God.
God now had all he ever wanted,
all he ever wanted
was you.
