"Growing beyond Bitterness"- Have you ever been in a fight with a friend who refused to make up and go on with life? The friend was so hurt, so angry, so bitter at you that forgiveness wasn't in his/her vocabulary. Instead of dealing with the problem, the person ignored your constant attempts at solving the conflict and tragically split your frienship in two. God knows how you feel. This type of stuff happens to him all the time. God has a lot of people ticked off at him. Alot of angry, frustrated, enraged,bitter people blame him for their lousy families, one-point losses, car crashes, bad grades, and ruthless teachers. These people refuse God's friendship for even the slightest of problem. Instead of seeing God as a tender and loving Father who created them, they often shake their fists at him and scream"Why?" Growing beyond bitterness is impossible with a clenched fist. God opens his hand to you in frienship to walk with you every day of your life. Do you want to live a bitter, angry life? Bitterness leaves an awful taste in your soul. Bitterness will poison your relationship with God and the people in your life. How long can you stay angry at God? pry open your fingers and accept his friendship. Then decide what type of friend you are going to be.
