'ERASING THE BOARD' I was never good at math. All the numbers, equations, sines, cosines, formulas, and theoretic postulating never made sense to me. Even worse, i hated getting called up front to solve problems. Walking up to the board, all I could smell was chalkdust and fear. Addition wasn't a problem, but geometry had my head spinning in bisecting trapezoids. Math reminded me of my mistakes. My favorit part of standing at the chalkboard was grabbing the eraser and swiping my incorrect answer into nothingness. My mistakes... wiped into eternity. how many millions of times has your math teacher had to erase the chalkboard? can your English teachers remember all the shakespear quotes they've made on every test you've taken? we tend to forget about the things we hate. God is the same way. When you ask to be forgiven for a mistake you've made, God erases your sin through the blood of his Son, Jesus Christ. He hates sin so much that he'll wipe it away as soon as you ask him. He loves you far more than your mistakes. He chucks your sins as far as east is from the west.( Try measuring that one!) God loves you so much, he erases your sin. He never counts, multiplies, or divides it. He forgets about the thing he hates most and remembers the person he loves most; you!
