Spiritual Awakening In America

Let us focus our prayers today on praying for a Spiritual Awakening In America! We should pray that a "spirit of prayer" will come upon Our lives, our local church, our community, our state and our nation.

Heavenly Father, we sense a real need for a spiritual awakening in America! MILLIONS ARE ASLEEP . . . unaware of the situations we see each and every day that people trust in themselves and not in you.

Most of those that believe say that they will go to heaven when they die because they are a good person. Lord Jesus, the Bible states humanities position that there is none good, no not even one good enough!

There is only one way to life eternal and that is by faith in "The Gift" that You have given us through Your sacrifice on the cross. As the old hymn says, "Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe"

Dear Lord, breathe on us the Breath of God and inspire each of us to pray for our families; to pray for our local church assembly, our community, and to pray for our nation to BE what You have called us to BE, the Body of Christ!

This we pray in the authority of the name of Jesus!
