| Pray for Dave who may stll have a staff infection |
|
| |
Hi All,
I wish that I had better news for this blog. Please recall an earlier hospitalization admission Was supposed to killed the staph that almost killed me. In he past few days, I have been running low-grade fevers with nausea. I have another in-office visit tomorrow that I almost expect to be going to the hospital. The doctor called the ambo for a transport next door I was so bad off.
Often, I am here, just logged in try to master pinball machine. LOL
For the past month, I feel that I am fighting a losing battle against a staph infection. If my fever hits 102 F again, I will be readmitted to the hospital via EMS services. This staph nearly killed the other week and it seems to becoming back to see what I have left. To make matters worse, some vomiting has returnd. I'll be back, eventually. I'm not one that gives up but I pretty sure the second battle is begining. I have the bast best spirit warriors by my side based. Jesus has sent them for His Porpose prposes. Amen!
Note: Just in case the Archangels like donuts at Mr. Coffee, Please keep your as the rear in case we need a few good men and women to pray on the front line too! You all are always the best and I thnk you for that.
God bless and if I can lock in an early Shotgun start near the hospital, perhaps we could all have lunch at the hospital. One this this GREAT and that is the visiting coming to see visits is now ALL day 8am to 9pm; so sneak meat a snack and a drink. The hospital can only distrunte the food if the Caferttierer is opn. Then they can order a can of sode and soda crackers. After the cafteria is closed, no mor untill the next morning.
TIA and TIJ!

| Lifting you up in prayer! Hang in there!! |

Dave - I pray that the staph infection be gone and have no more hold on your body. You are healed in the blood of the lamb and our prayers will be with you through this trial. Jesus is the power, not the sickness! |

Pastor Dave....
We love you, and you will hang in there, hear me!?!!?! Thanks for your strength and joy, in the face of this great trial. They are like lighted billboards to the hospital staff that you belong to Jesus! Please also continue to be strong for Theresa - we love her too! |

Somehow, I must have double-submitted yesterday's blog. So I guess I need to post my reply for today in both places. Let me do that and then I will read what all has been said in this thread.
Posted in the "other" blog by the same name:
God is good, all the time! All the time, God is good!
Did I write the above? Wow! I hope that my English teacher does not see that...
God never ceases to amaze me in His Ways. Yesterday, I got PC Study Bible Version 5 installed on my new laptop that I will be using when confined to bed. That is the Bible study software that I have relied on since 1999 to study His Word. It comes with the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek texts and loads of commentaries that would fill the room. I have Strong's complete unabridged corcordeance that I used back in the 80's and that one volume of half-a-gazillion pages alone I can no longer lift from the bookshelf. Thank God for Bible study software and laptops!
Each morning, when I start the PC Study Bible software, it first opens to "Our Daily Bread" and today's scripture is:
1:2 Let it be all joy to you, my brothers, when you undergo tests of every sort; 1:3 Because you have the knowledge that the testing of your faith gives you the power of going on in hope; 1:4 But let this power have its full effect, so that you may be made complete, needing nothing. Yes, we serve an awesome God. I don't know why we go through all of the hardships we do. I also don't know why we have to, at times, suffer so much. But I do know, that just the mere amount of suffering of pain I had this morning; I could barely move my feft leg because of a severe cramp, is but a small glimpse of what Christ suffered in payment for my sins.
I love you Lord. Please show me what you want me to do today. In Him, Dave |

Everyone, your comments are of great comfort. I wish that I could reach through my monitor and hug each and every one of you! Isn't God awesome? Isn't it awesome how God uses MyChurch?
I have a follow-up hospitalization doctor appointment in 2 hours. When we tried this last week, the doctor called 9-1-1 and sent me back to the hospital with all sorts of body trauma from something. Today I feel good, no fever and the windows are open.
Thank you Lord for this is the day that You hath made...

| Christ has redeemed Dave from the curse of the law. Therefore, I forbid any sickness or disease to come upon his body. Every disease, germ, and every virus that touches his body dies instantly in the name of Jesus. Every organ and every tissue of his body functions in the perfection in which God created it to function, and I forbid any malfunction in his body in the name of Jesus |
|
|
| Lord Jesus Christ, by your patience in suffering you hallowed earthly pain and gave us the example of obedience to your Father's will: Be near me in my time of weakness and pain; sustain me by your grace, that my strength and courage may not fail; heal me according to your will; and help me always to believe that what happens to me here is of little account if you hold me in eternal life, my Lord and my God. Amen. |
