I just want to give a shout out to the Lord! Whoo Hoo! Way to go Jesus! 3 years ago today my loving wife was in a serious car accident. She was hit by an uninsured motorist and was life flighted to the hospital. She sustained two broken hands, a broken hip, two broken ribs and two broken ankles. She needed surgery to repair her hands and ankle and today, she is walking with a limp, and still has pain, but she carrying on with life quite nicely. It has a been a long road to recovery, but God is faithful. I want to thank the body of Christ who so lovingly helped us through the trauma and the rehabilitation, and thank the Lord for giving us the grace to make it through and the victory over the enemy.
So many times the enemy wishes to destroy us. Trials come and test our character and our comittments, but the Lord is faithful. I just want the world to know that I am thankful for my wife and that God spared her life. I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good. The Bible tells us that the rain falls on the just and the unjust alike. Good and bad happens to us all but when the bad does come, I have learned to be like Job who said, "the Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord." The Lord is my Shepherd and even though we walk through the valley, we know that He is right there with us.
If you are going through a dark time and a difficult time, this too shall pass. Just know that God loves you, and is working all things together for your good. Even if it doesn't feel or seem like it, God is faithful. For the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us.
Thank you Jesus for all you have done! I glorify your name! |
