Very good thoughts brother. When the Truth of God's Word is watered down or minimized in anyway you are but one step away from liberalism. I'm glad to see others standing on the Truth of God's Word exposing the lies of the culture and proclaiming forth the Truth of the Gospel.

Brother Keith...
This is such good food for thought.  At one time, I asked myself the same thing.  I also asked myself, who am I to judge?

I'm back....  we have free choice.  I choose truth vs. the social club environment.  I the freedom to choose the right and good thing.  I leave the judging to God.

It is a long response, I could not condense it and state what needed to be said.

Dear Brother, the problem in many cases is there are no genuine authority figures in many Churches.  If the the church is denominational then it is a franchise of sorts govern by an outside body, now the Pastor of these churches can say all they want about that not being true, yet anyone of them can be removed from being Pastor at  anytime the governing authority of their denomination say that it be done.

So in essence, being a franchise it needs money, thus the clicks, different clicks serve different purposes, there is the money click that provides the most cash and has the most control over the church from the inside, then you have the gossip glick and so on and so forth and everyone that reads this that is willing to be honest will understand I am not stating an opinion but a fact.

By the way, the majority of the prosperity churches have a connection to a denominational church.

Now we go to the non denominational Churches,  in many cases these people are preaching psychology more than the Lord word, huh, is the only word I can come up with when I listen to how they tell me I should live, and yes I have a college education, but  that is the best word I can come up with when listening to that kind of Man preaching that way.

Now, in between all of that.  Few and far between all of that, there are some denominational churches and some nondenominational churches in which you have Men and Women of the Lord doing the Lords work,.  Sermons are based on the Lords word, people and families are taught how to live with Morals and respect others and themselves, but most of all respect and love the Lord.  For you see they use the Bible to teach all of these things to their congregation's.  These are the places, (Churches) where people care about the Lord and his people.  You have to go to a few and listen to what is said at churches, but if you keep trying you will find one of these good churches to go to.

Right when you would think were home, were not.  Being in the world today, there a minimum of 55 Bibles in most Biblesoft computer programs like PC-Bible software program.  Of course they all have a cross reference program for studying.  So we have parishioners who go home and come back knowing it all.  Again, I say "huh"now being of those 55 Bibles that are in English, PC Bible forgets to tell people on the first page that come up on there computer that the Bibles in the program are based on different articles in history and some of the Bibles have been mistranslated as they were changing some over to English, or they also for get to tell people another fact and that is that the most used Bible in the world today the NIV, is actually missing many verses in it that have been in every other Bible before it.

So when you go to church are you using the same Bible that other people are?  My point again being that many people today are busy being politically correct instead of Biblically Doctrinally correct. Personally, I'll take the later.

OK, all in a large nutshell,  the most important thing is to find a church that teaches the word of God.  Secondly, find one that teaching the word of God is an absolutely priority at and will not wavier that belief. At that kind of church you will find a Pastor that is in charge. Third, who care about clicks, we care about God and hos people, personalities are going to always be there, it is our job to be an example as Christ was for others instead of judging others, for that is the job of Christ in Revelations 5 for those who don't know.  Fourth, find a church that uses a Bible that is correct in its Biblical teachings, based on historical fact, you see there are basically two sets of documents from the first century on that the New Testament is based on. One set is more in tact then the other, personally, I use the KJV Ministers Bible because I am a Reverend and it is my job to be accurate when teaching others about Christ.  But pick which Bible you wish and that is fine with me, but stick to it, and preferably pick a church where every one is using the same Bible.

As per software programs, if that make anyone feel better, that is fine, but realize it takes more than a life time of Praying before reading the Bible and then reading the Bible, again and again and again, and we still got to keep praying for understanding of the Fathers Will.  To me, software programs do not really cause anything but confusion of Biblical Facts, although, a nice audio CD of the Bible you use is a nice thing to have. It will always boil down to you and the Father by way of the Son, how you wish to become closer with that is your choice, I have given you all I have to give in choosing a church except for the most important part, there is only one Church, that is the Body of Christ, everything else, is just buildings that they gather in.    When two or more are gathered in his name.  My point is, make the church that we all chose to worship in, truly the Body of Christ through our works for him when we enter the building called a church.

My point is to serve the Lord and find the word of God, it takes work and it is worth the work to find it.  Because then, you find a home where the Lords word lives.

Son I know exactly what you mean I go to church to serve God not for entertanment, it's not a party like in the world but I seen some come for just that, even though it might be a gospel praise group to usher in the presence of the holy Ghost after that's over I seen a lot of folks walk out they did night come for the word the came to get in the flesh I seen it.

Thank you all for your response!
Reverend K- all of what you are saying is correct as i see. You seem to have a huge grasp of what I am saying, however the reason why i didn't go into all of that is because I wanted people to think Just Like you are thinking. (at the end of the day Christ is the head of the church, my life, and everything that goes along with living for him) People seem to have forgotten that. So thank you so much for bringing that out.
Brother To- no need to expand, because anything else would be what I think and not what-Christ wants.
