I spent a day by the river
It was quiet and the wind stood still
I spent some time with nature
To remind me of all that's real
It's funny how silence speaks sometimes when you're alone
And remember that you feel

This is exactly what Paul was talking about in Romans Chapter 1. Check it out:

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

What he is basically saying here is that God has placed within each person an intuitive knowledge of God, and of right and wrong. It's like a homing device. When we become quiet, that homing device begins to draw us to God. He begins to speak to us.

For that reason, many people keep themselves occupied or have the need to be constantly entertained. If they don't God will undoubtedly begin speaking to them and most don't want to hear what he has to say.

Agree?

Next time I see this face
I'll say I choose to live for always
So won't you come inside And never go away!

Creed is a great band, but Scott Stapp bums me out for what he COULD have done to reach people.
